Our fundamental beliefs

Inspired by French-speaking cultures around the world, within A.V.E.C. International, you will find the expression of a passion for God that goes beyond any culture. Our Fundamental beliefs:

  • The one true God - The one true God has revealed Himself as the eternally self-existent "I AM," the Creator of heaven and earth and the Redeemer of mankind. He has further revealed Himself as embodying the principles of relationship and association as Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

  • The Scriptures are God inspired - The Scriptures, both the Old and New Testaments, are verbally inspired of God and are the revelation of God to man, the infallible, authoritative rule of faith and conduct.

  • Salvation - Salvation is received through repentance toward the one true God and faith toward the Lord Jesus Christ. By the regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit, being justified by grace through faith, man becomes an heir of God, according to the hope of eternal life.

  • Baptism in the Holy Spirit - With it comes the enduement of power for life and service, the bestowment of the gifts and their uses in the work of the ministry.

  • Divine Healing - Divine healing is an integral part of the gospel. Deliverance from sickness is provided for in the atonement, and is the privilege of all believers.

  • The Second Coming of Christ - The second coming of Christ includes the rapture of the saints, which is our blessed hope, followed by the visible return of Christ with His saints to reign on earth for one thousand years.

Our values

  • Biblical Authority - We hold the Bible as our authority while striving to help everyone understand and engage with it.

  • Spirit-Empowered - We believe that every follower of Jesus is empowered by the Holy Spirit to bring hope and healing to those around them, and we provide spaces for people to encounter the Holy Spirit. Since, Jesus Christ had made the statement "in miracles and wonders, no one can believe" (Jn 4:48) but by morning prayer (Mc 1:35) and by the fasting (Mk 9.29) the impossible by faith can become possible, so we wait for the favor manifestations of the power of God by the Holy Spirit

  • Discipleship - We are strategic about seeing people become disciples of Jesus and engaging intentionally in the study of the Word, prayer, and community. We believe every member of the family deserves to be discipled in a way that is age-appropriate, challenging, and applicable to their lives.

  • Engagement - We will work to understand our community and surrounding culture in order to better reach people with the gospel.

  • Joyful Generosity - We give generously with open hands, open hearts, and open homes. We give our first and our best.

  • Christ-Centered Community - We believe the church should be a place where you can make great friends who encourage and uplift you, and we provide space for that to happen.
